Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2020/21 season, which will be worn for the first time on Wednesday night against LASK in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie.

The kit is made up of the club’s traditional red but it is mixed with threads from the club crest to produce a subtly patterned base fabric.

Adidas design director Inigo Turner said: “[The crest] is the representation of the heart and passion of the club, it is symbolic and iconic across the world.

“It is significant as the first component added to each design, and one that makes up the threads of the shirt design for the 2020-21 season.”
